Let's not take anything away from what Jayden Daniels has done this season. The Commanders won 11 games in the regular season and beat Tampa Bay on the road last week in the wild card round. The thing is, they've been extremely fortunate in games decided late and there has to be some regression to the mean. Detroit is an explosive offensive team and Washington's defense isn't one that is built to neutralize the kind of weapons that the Lions bring to the table. The Lions are dangerous at home and they may well have David Montgomery back to be part of the 1-2 punch in the run game for them. Detroit jumps all over Washington early and rolls to the win.
