Charlotte is putting up just 67.6 points a game and giving up just 54.6 points a game on 37.6% percent shooting. Detroit has started the season with a 2-3 record and has lost two straight. Antoine Davis has averaged 24 points a game this year. He has scored in double figures for 117 straight games which is a new NCAA record. Can the Charlotte defense stop Davis is the question? Charlotte is allowing only 54.6 points a game but has not faced a scoring machine like Davis. Even if they can't contain him, the Detroit defense struggles to contain anybody. They rank near the bottom in most defensive categories. The bigger problem may be on the boards where they don't rebound the ball well and Charlotte has a 6-11 post player that should be able to dominate the glass.
