The ACC/Big Ten Challenge gets underway when the Pitt Panthers go on the road to take on the Northwestern Wildcats. Pitt is coming off an 80-64 win over William & Mary. Northwestern is coming off a 43-42 loss to #13 Auburn in the championship game of the Cancun Challenge. Pitt is riding a three-game winning streak and is 4-3 on the season. The Panthers are putting up 71.3 points a game on the season and are giving up 68.6. The Wildcats are 5-1 this season after the loss to Auburn. The Wildcats are putting up 66.2 points a game and giving up 51.6. I see this as a battle between the defenses. Pitt has gone over the number in four of their seven games this season. Northwestern has gone under in all six games this season. northwestern in playing awesome defense but also doesn't score a lot. Pitt is middle of the road in both areas. I don't see a lot of points from either side in this one.
