Both teams are struggling on offense. The Steelers are 24th in passing offense and the Panthers are 29th. Pittsburgh will be starting Mitchell Trubiscky in this one, and it is interesting that he has been splitting reps with Rudolph in practice. The Panthers have the 14th-ranked passing defense and should be able to slow down if not shut down the Steelers' passing game. The total has gone under in six of Pittsburgh's last nine games, and under in eight of Carolina's last 12 games. The Steelers put up more than 21 points just three times in their 13 games. Carolina has gone under in five of their seven home games. I think the defenses are better than the offenses in this one.
