Valero Alamo Bowl.
(NCAAF) Texas vs. Washington,
Point Spread: 3.00 | -110.00 Washington (Home)
Result: Win
The Texas longhorns take on the Washington Huskies in the Valero Alamo Bowl. Texas finished the season winning three of their last four to finish at 8-4. They will be at a huge disadvantage in this one as their top two running backs have decided to sit this one out. Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson accounted for 23 of Texas’ 49 touchdowns this year.
They do have Quinn Ewers under center for this one. Texas is 8-4 against the spread. Washington finished the season at 10-2. They finished the season winning six in a row. Washington is 7-5 against the spread. Washington comes into this game with one of the best offenses in the country while Texas will be hampered on offense without their best two running backs. Washington has the No. 1 passing attack but Penix Jr. can also get it done with his legs. The Longhorns are allowing 239 pass yards per game, which Penix should be able to exploit. Ewers has been good this season but has not had to be the main guy in the offense. Washington is 4-0 ATS in their last four non-conference games and are 5-1 ATS in their last six games following an ATS win. Washington could win this game outright but take the points.
