MLB - Rangers @ Rays
(MLB) Rangers (TEX) vs. Rays (TAM),
Money Line: -142.00 Rays (TAM) (Home)
Result: Win
Money Line: -142.00 Rays (TAM) (Home)
Result: Win
I’m on the Rays Moneyline at home vs the Rangers for these reasons:
- Kimar Rocker is coming off the injured list and should show some rust in his return. He had a good outing back in April vs the Rays, allowing only one run off 6 hits, however, this Rays team has considerably improved batting since April, May being their best month with games averaging more than 5 runs consistently.
- Shane Baz isn’t my favorite on this staff, but he has been in close matchups with this Rangers team before, allowing only 3 runs off 7 hits in 6 innings last year vs these Rangers, and it’s arguable that the Ranger are less dangerous than last season. The Rangers this year have a .222 team batting average, top 5 least runs, and the least hits so far, so while Baz has lost his last 2 meetings vs these Rangers, this is a good time bet on a reverse trend.
Officially Bet: Rays Moneyline
Side Bet: Shane Baz over 17.5 outs
Hail Mary: Under 9 runs
