I’m on the Mets -2.5 on the road vs the Colorado Rockies for these reasons:

- Rockies are garbage. We already know this. The franchise is terrible and who knows what it will take for them to actually compete in this league, but this line being at -120 for the Mets to win by 3 or more, is an easy thought for me just because of who the Rockies are starting on the mound, along with their bats struggling. It’s Carson Palmquist on the mound, and he’s god awful. 0-4 record, 8.50 ERA, and only 14 strikeouts. He’s also a lefty pitcher that struggles against lefty batters (allowing a .333 batting average to them). There’s no hope for him to stay safe vs this Mets Batting lineup.

- Clay Holmes is a beast against poor batting rotations and he’s even better on the road. His .259 ERA is underrated when you account for the teams he’s played on the road (all were much better than the Rockies), and he’s 57th in strikeout rate.
