The Nuggets are coming into this game with the series tied 1-1 and they are coming off of a big loss in their last game. They won the 1st game in this series 121-119 with a huge comeback win as they were down 10+ points with just a few mins to go and that was a big win for them as they now have the home advantage in this series. They followed that game up with an awful performance in game 2 though, losing 149-106 as the Thunder came out very strong with a hunger to bounce back and were even up by 24 points at the end of the 1st quarter. The starters did not really play more than 30 mins for the Nuggets in that game though as it was over pretty early on so they rested their players as are still off of a 7 game series in the last round. Now they are going to be hungry to bounce back at home though after such an embarrassing loss on the road, and the Nuggets have been very good at home in the playoffs so far. They have won 3 of their 4 home games from the last series and they have been much better in their last 2 games there as they won both of those games by 15+ points and scored 120+ points in each. The Thunder had the best record in the league this season, but the Nuggets were not a team that they dominated as they were 2-2 against them this season and have now split the first 2 games at home in this series as well. There is also precedent for the Nuggets getting up after a big loss to the Thunder as they lost on the road to them 127-103 back on March 9, but they bounced back in the very next game as the two played in OKC again and the Nuggets won that game the next night 140-127. Jokic did not play a lot in that blowout loss so he will be more fresh in this game and the Nuggets will get up at home to make this a series against the number 1 seed.
