AMEDEUS' CFL EAST GAME OF THE YEAR!
(CFL) Tiger-Cats (HAM) vs. Argonauts (TOR),
Point Spread: 4.50 | -110.00 Argonauts (TOR) (Home)
Result: Loss
The Ticats are coming into this game with a 1-2 record this season and they are coming off of their 1st win of the season. They opened the season with a 38-26 loss on the road against the Stampeders and followed that up with a closer 28-23 loss at home to the Roughriders. Now they are coming off of a 35-17 win at home against the Alouettes in their last game, but they also took advantage of the Alouettes without their starting QB. Bo Levi Mitchell has been slinging the ball around this year and is off to another good start to the season, but the team does not have much of a run game as they have struggled to run the ball in all 3 games this year and that is going to put more stress on Mitchell to do it with his arm. They are going up against an Argos team that is 1-3 this season and is also coming off of their 1st win of the season. They opened the season with an awful 28-10 loss on the road against the Alouettes and they dollowed up with a 29-19 loss at home to the Stampeders, but they have improved a lot in their last 2 games. They ended up losing their next game at home to the Riders 39-32, but their offense was much better in that game as Arbuckle is getting into a rhythm now, and they followed that game up with a dominant 29-16 win on the road against the Redblacks in their last game. Their offense has been much better in their last 2 games with 29+ points scored in each, but now their defense is starting to turn around as they are coming off of their best defensive game of the season. The Argos won the Grey Cup last season, but they lost all 3 of their meetings against the Ticats so they are going to have this game circled and will get up for their rival here. They lost all 3 games to the Ticats last season, but none of those losses were by more than 3 points and the last time that the Ticats even beat the Argos by 3+ points was back in August of 2022. These two are going to scrap this game out all night and whoever wins it in the end, it will be a very close game regardless. The Argos will cover the spread in this game.
