The Sparks are coming into this game with a 5-13 record this season and they have not been having a good season, but they have actually been much better on the road this year at 4-6. They have not been playing well in their recent games as they have lost their last 2 straight as well as 6 of their last 7 games, but their only win in that span did come on the road against the Fever 85-75 so they are going to have some confidence in this game. They are coming off of an 89-79 loss against the Liberty on the road in their last game, but the Liberty are also one of the better teams in the league and they were desperate for a win at home after losing a majority of their games on the road trip they got back from. They are going up against a Fever team that is 9-8 this season and they are 5-4 at home this year, but they have not been any better at home compared to being on the road. They have been on fire in their recent games as they have won their last 3 straight as well as 4 of their last 5 games, and their defense has been great as they have held opponents under 60 points in each of their last 2 games. They have been shutting teams down defensively in their last 2 games, but prior to their last 2 games they actually allowed 85+ points in 5 straight games and their defense is not as good as the way they have been playing in their last 2 games. They have also been riding high recently as they beat the Lynx on the road 74-59 in the Commissioner's Cup Final and they followed that up with an 81-54 win against the Aces at home in their last game, but they are due for a let down here after those 2 big wins and the Sparks know how to beat the Fever without Clark in the lineup as they did it just over a week ago.
