The Storm are coming into this game with an 11-7 record this season and they have been playing very well in their recent games. They have won 2 of their last 3 as well as 5 of their last 7 games and they bounced back in their last game with an 80-79 win on the road against the Dream after getting embarrassed by the Valkyries in their game prior, losing that game 84-57. They were able to get the win against the Dream, but that was not an easy game for them and their offense has been much worse on the road in their last 2 games as well as 3 of their last 5 games. Their defense has not been good either with 83+ points allowed in 2 of their last 3 road games. They are going up against a Liberty team that is 12-5 this season and they have not been playing well in their recent games. They have lost 2 of their last 3 as well as 4 of their last 6 games, but they are coming off of an 89-79 win at home against the Sparks in their last game and that was a great bounce back win for them after a bad road trip. Now they are going to have some confidence from that win at home in their last game and they have been much better at home this season at 7-1. They have won 7 of their 8 home games this season and all 7 of those wins were by 5+ points as well. Their offense has been much better in these home games as they have scored 80+ points in all 8 home games this year, and their defense has also been better as they have held opponents under 80 points in 6 of those 8 games as well. This is the 2nd game of an 8 game homestand for the Liberty and they are going to be hungry to get back on a roll after the way they played on that road trip. They also lost to the Storm by 10 points on that road trip so this is a good chance for them to get that game back. The Liberty will cover the spread in this game.
