Notre Dame has allowed 17 points or less on defense all season and have shut down most teams' offenses, and they will slow down the Nittany Lions offense in this game too as it is going to become a grind of a game where they run down the clock. Penn State is also good at stopping the run, and if the Oregon game is set aside, the Nittany Lions have allowed less than 14 points all season to opponents on average per game. Both defenses will dominate this game and there will be more field goals than touchdowns so taking Under the Total of 45 points is appealing.
