Ole Miss has had some good wins this season beating Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, Alabama and Louisville to name a few and they are running under the radar as they are not getting a lot of attention in this tournament. They are a solid team that can defend the 3 point line and they love to create turnovers, they handle the ball well and apply pressure effectively; and they also eliminated the Tar Heels in the tournament too. They should be competitive and dangerous in this matchup with Iowa State who is shorthanded in this one. This game should go down to the wire so getting points is where the value lies. Iowa State is banged up and not fully healthy without Gilbert which has affected their game, so this is a spot the underdog can take advantage of. Their last meeting several seasons ago saw Ole Miss lose by double digits to the Cyclones so they are playing with some revenge and this game should be a lot closer for the Rebels.
