The Trojans actually found out that they can play defense this year as they have allowed just 17 ppg so far. The Golden Gophers also play good defense as they have allowed just 15.4 ppg on the year, including just 12.5 ppg at home. USC has played at a bit slower pace this year while the Golden Gophers always play at a slower pace and they will have to do that here in order to shorten the game. This one does not look like a shootout as I see no more than 42 points being scored.
