NY vs. CLE (Giants +6.5): BEST BET NFL
(NFL) Giants (NYG) vs. Browns (CLE),
Point Spread: 6.50 | -110.00 Giants (NYG) (Away)
Result: Win
Cleveland is not getting what it paid for in QB Deshaun Watson, who averaged 3.8 yards per attempt in week one (with two INTs) and averaged 5.5 YPA with zero TDs last week. Without RB Nick Chubb, the Browns offense is lacking pop, ranking 21st in rushing yards and 26th in passing yards per game. The Giants have a great defensive line (14 TFLs and 6.0 sacks with nine QB hits, including seven QB hits last week) and nothing to lose after a disappointing 0-2 start.

The betting trends suggest NY is worth the risk, too. Since 2010, 0-2 teams are 15-6 (71%) ATS when the total is below 42 points. 0-2 teams are 36-16-1 (69%) ATS when facing a 1-1 team in week three, as well. On top of that, when an 0-2 team is facing an opponent that is averaging 18 or fewer points per game, they are 11-3 (79%) ATS.

I expect NY to at least cover the spread in a defensive battle on Sunday in Ohio!
