(WNBA) Washington vs. Chicago,
Point Spread: 3.00 | -115.00 Chicago (Home)
Result: Loss
Chicago not only has short revenge for a 77-69 road loss to Washington this past Sunday, but also double revenge. The Mystics nipped Chicago, 71-69, on May 29 at Chicago.

Washington i s 7-4. I find that record deceiving, though. The Mystics rank last in scoring and field goal percentage. They have not played against an above .500 opponent in their last eight games.

Before beating the Sky this past Sunday, the Mystics had scored two wins against 3-8 Seattle, a victory against 2-9 Phoenix and a one-point win against 6-6 Dallas. During this last five-game span, the Mystics also were blown out on the road by 4-7 Indiana, losing by 21 points.

The Sky is 5-7, but have covered 70 percent of their games at 7-3-2.

The Mystics might have benefitted from home-cooking in their Sunday win against the Sky shooting 26 free throws compared to 14 for Chicago. The Sky's best players did not play well in that game either. Chicago was 6-of-20 on its 3-point shots.

The Sky's rotation is deeper now with the return of Morgan Bertsch. Chicago has two strong scorers in Marina Mabrey and Kahleah Cooper. They average a combined 34 points a game. The two, however, managed only 19 points together in Sunday's loss.

I'm looking for the Sky to be the more motivated team and to play much better. Being home should help. It's an added bonus if point guard Natasha Cloud can't play for Washington due to illness. She leads the Mystics in assists at 5.8 per game.
