(NCAAB) UMass vs. VCU,
Point Spread: 10.50 | -110.00 UMass (Away)
Result: Loss
I'm going to take this many points with UMass catching VCU in an Atlantic 10 Conference sandwich spot.

VCU still could be fat and happy after upsetting Dayton, 63-62, as a 7-point road 'dog this past Friday. That win earned the Rams a share of the Atlantic 10 lead with Dayton and St. Louis. The Rams go back on the road to face Richmond in a revenge game on Friday. Richmond is a game out of first place in the Atlantic 10.

So VCU isn't so likely to be highly motivated for this matchup.

The Rams should be, though. UMass got back to winning rolling past Rhode Island, 75-65, this past Saturday despite not having guard and team leading scorer, Noah Fernandes. He's questionable for this matchup. It's obviously a plus if he plays, but I still like the Minutemen to hang in regardless.

The strength of UMass is rebounding particularly on the offensive glass where it ranks 33th. VCU is not a good rebounding team. So the Minutemen have a key rebounding edge.
