(NCAAB) Miami vs. North Carolina,
Point Spread: 5.50 | -109.00 Miami (Away)
Result: Win
Miami is building a strong resume. The Hurricanes made an Elite 8 run last season, are 20-5 this season and one-half game out of first in the Atlantic Coast Conference with an 11-4 league mark.

But if the Hurricanes want to make a case for being a high seed come NCAA Tournament time they need to prove they can beat North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

I'll take this many points to find out.

Miami ranks 29th in scoring at 79 points per game, is 18th in field goal percentage and is the 14th-best free throw shooting team in the nation at 77.3 percent. The Hurricanes have four double-digit scores, depth and are solid on the glass with good size in the frontcourt.

North Carolina can be inconsistent defensively. Just two games ago, the Tar Heels permitted 92 points to Wake Forest. North Carolina is 1-3 in its last four games and has failed to cover in four of their past five games. The Tar Heels have a worse record than Miami at 16-9 and 8-6 in the ACC.
However, the Tar Heels are an imposing 11-1 at home.

Miami enters this matchup with momentum and confidence having won four in a row. The Hurricanes won the lone meeting last season. They have covered 21 of their last 27 road games.
