10* TOTAL BLOOD-BATH: 32-19 NBA $URGE!
(NBA) Timberwolves (MIN) vs. Magic (ORL),
Total: 207.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
Total: 207.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOTAL BLOOD-BATH on the OVER Wolves/Magic.
Both sides have been involved in several lower-scoring games of late, but I'm finally anticipating much more of a run-and-gun "shootout" here in Orlando on Thursday night, so therefore will be rolling with the OVER in this one.
Minnesota is now 19-17 after back-to-back low-scoring victories, most recently a 104-97 win at New Orleans. Note though that interestingly the Wolves have seen the total dip below the posted number in five of their last six off a SU/ATS road win as a favorite in which they held their opponent to 99 or fewer points in.
Orlando is now 22-16 after trading wins/losses over its last six games. The Magic have seen the total go UNDER in five straight now after their most recent 103-94 victory at the Knicks, but note that looking back Orlando has seen the total go UNDER in five of its last six after playing to five or more straight OVERs in a row.
With each side getting after it and pushing the pace like I believe it will, everything points to this total flying OVER the number sooner, rather than later.
Good luck, NP
