Its the first game for both of these teams so that is the only thing holding me back from playing this game even stronger.
Buffalo had 19 football players test positive for COVID-19 in late September, but the Bulls have recovered and are ready to open the season on Wednesday. They finished with an 8-5 record last season, including the program’s first bowl victory in a 31-9 blowout against Charlotte in the Bahamas Bowl. Buffalo had the best winning percentage in the MAC after the season ended. The Bulls did not lose a game after Oct. 5 and outscored opponents by an average of 38-16 down the stretch. Their defense held teams under three touchdowns in five of the final six games.

I like Buffalo to win this game by double digits pretty easily. The Bulls are simply a much better team from every angle. They are more talented, have more depth and have a lot more experience than Northern Illinois. Their duo of running backs are going to have no problem against a young Huskies’ defense. Look for Buffalo to come out strong and get a big win on Wednesday.
