Washington coach Ron Rivera is letting Alex Smith sling the ball and having success moving it, and the Bengals' defense won’t resist much. QB Alex Smith went 38/55 and threw for nearly 400 yards and given how fantastic this Redskins defense has been and the fact the Bengals defense has been awful, we believe Washington will be able to move the chains.

Washington defense is very good in the redzone as well.
The Team is playing 77 YPG better defensively. Also, Washington owns the slightly better performance against common foes. Lastly in Coach Ron Rivera’s first season at Carolina back in 2011, the Panthers started 2-8, then finished strong 4-2 as the players got used to his system. We could see something similar happening with this Wash team this season. We like Washington at home on Sunday.
