Texas HC Herman can't afford to lose this kind of game if he wants to continue coaching at Texas in 2021. Texas has had a good grip on the Cyclones over the past few years and Iowa St is coming off a huge 45-0 blowout last week and this isn't a shitty Kansas St they are playing who couldn't cover WR's or tackle last week.
Texas is just a couple of plays away from being undefeated, with their two defeats coming in competitive results against TCU and Oklahoma. Texas came through on the defensive side of the ball in their last outing beating West Virginia by a final of 17-13.
