The Hornets were on quite the incredible run before falling back down to Earth in their loss to the Orlando Magic.
But for whatever reason, they couldn’t buy a bucket against the Magic.

It was simply one of those weird offensive performances that can’t be explained. They’ll be back on track in Monday’s run-in with a Knicks team that hasn’t played well offensively long enough to be a believer.


The Knicks are up and down defensively, and they’ll be tasked with taking on a Hornets team with multiple offensive playmakers on the floor. It doesn’t help matters that they’re being led by the vision magician LaMelo Ball. After losing to the Magic on Friday, the Hornets have had an entire weekend to stew over that loss, and I expect them to bounce back here on MLK day.
