Top Rated 10* MLB *DOG OF THE DAY*
Play: Baltimore Orioles
Rating: 10*
The Baltimore Orioles fell 5-3 to American League East rival the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday. This looks like a good spot to back the Birds to execute revenge behind the talented Dylan Bundy.
Bundy (6-3, 2.93) has won three straight starts, all while fanning a total of 19 hitters with only three runs allowed through 18 2/3 innings of work. He's 2-1 with a 2.19 ERA in 14 appearances (three starts) home at Camden Yards where the Orioles are a solid 39-18 on the season.
Boston turns to David Price (10-8, 4.29 ERA) who has failed to live up to the expectations since joining the club in the summer. Price has been particularly shaky on the road as he's not recorded a single win away from home since May 18, and he's 3-5 with a 4.34 ERA in 12 starts away from Fenway Park on the season.
The Orioles boast the best bullpen in the American League and it's key pieces are coming into this contest well rested. The same can not be said about the Red Sox, and this looks like a great price on the Orioles to run away with the win as a home dog.
