The Miami Marlins and the New York Mets are tied for second in the NL East, but the teams are trending in opposite directions. The Fish have lost four of their past five games while the Mets have the exact opposite record, and this looks like a more than reasonable price on the hotter of the two teams.

Seth Lugo (1-2, 2.51) is making his third straight start as he takes the ball for New York. The 26 year old rookie picked up his first win in the big leagues his last time out when he tossed five scoreless innings of two-hit ball at St. Louis.

The Marlins turn to Tom Koehler (9-9, 3.85 ERA) who surrendered four runs (three earned) on seven hits and a pair of walks in a 5-2 loss to the Royals his last start. Koehler is 0-1 with a 4.09 ERA and a .302 BAA in two meetings with the Mets this season. He's 2-6 with a 4.13 ERA in 19 career games (16 starts) against the club.

Marlins are 2-10 in Koehler's last 12 starts vs. a team with a winning record and 2-5 in Koehler's last seven road starts vs. Mets.
