The New York Islanders are coming off back-to-back 3-0 triumphs, and they've had two days rest since beating Carolina their last time out. The winning streak is the first for the Islanders since a three-game run from Jan. 7 to Jan. 15, and I think they'll keep it rolling here when hosting the Minnesota Wild Monday afternoon. The inconsistent Wild enter this contest on a two-game slide, preceded by a two-game winning streak, which in turn was preceded by a four-game span in which it alternated wins with losses. Wild are 6-17 in their last 23 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and the home team is 4-1 in the last five matchups in this series.
