Texas has lost 8 of its last 10, including yesterday's series opener here with Seattle by a score of 6-2, but I believe the conditions are now right for a much more competitive battle on Saturday. Seattle comes in on the other end of the spectrum, having won 7 of its last 10. After 3 straight victories here though, I'm expecting a letdown. Marco Gonzalez toes the slab for the visitors and he's 7-11 with a 3.98 ERA. He's just 2-6 with a 5.01 ERA on the road though. The home side counters with Dane Dunning, who is 2-6 with a 4.04 ERA. He's 0-5 with a 5.12 ERA on the road, but 2-1 with a 2.99 ERA at home. Look for home field to play a big advantage for Dunning here. But in a contest that I see being decided late, or even in extras, the play here is to lay the price for the extra 1.5 runs of insurance with the Rangers on the runline option!
