AAA's NATIONAL LEAGUE SUPER-BLOWOUT!
(MLB) NY Mets vs. Cincinnati, 09/05/2014 3:10 PM, Score: 14 - 5
Money Line: -113.00 Cincinnati (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* SUPER-BLOWOUT on the Cincinnati Reds.

After dropping three straight interleague contests, I think the struggling home side comes to play today and finds a way to get the job done at the end of the night. Cincinnati turns to Alfredo Simon (13-9, 3.28 ERA) to snap the slide; Simon had a spectacular first half, but has scuffled for the most part in the second, he's 1-6 with a pedestrian 4.62 ERA over his last nine outings. Simon was decent in his last start though, he gave up 3 runs in the first inning to the Pirates, before then settling down with seven K's over seven frames worked (he would in the end lose 3-2 though). The Metropolitans beat the Fish 4-3 on Wednesday and now turn to veteran Bartolo Colon (12-11, 4.01 ERA) who was shelled for six runs over 5 1/3's innings in his team's 7-2 setback to Philadelphia on Saturday. Unfortunatley for Colon, a date vs. Cincinnati is not what the doctor ordered to get untracked, he was hammered for five runs in a 6-5 loss back on August 7th, 2013 while with Oakland. Cincinnati rallied late in last night's 9-7 setback to the Orioles, I think that "near miss" will only add fuel to the fire and have no problem laying this very reasonable price; play on the REDS.
