Expect a lot of intensity in this one. It was just a week ago that Isaiah Stewart took after LeBron James after James struck Stewart in the face with a blow that was or was not accidental. It caused a fracas and resulted in short suspensions for both players.

The Lakers won that game, 121-116, in Detroit. The Lakers shot 49 percent from the floor, well above their season 44 percent mark. The Pistons hit 44 percent of their field goals while their season shooting percentage is 40.5 percent. There were a combined 48 free throws taken.

I don't expect the teams to shoot nearly that well. Since that loss to the Lakers, the Pistons have averaged 93.6 points in their last three games. Detroit ranks last in many of the major offensive categories, including scoring, field goal percentage and 3-point shooting percentage.

The Lakers aren't going to lack motivation after blowing a 13-point fourth quarter lead on Friday in a 141-137 triple overtime loss to the Kings. LA is feeling embarrassed about a 10-11 record.

The Pistons know they don't have the scorers to keep up with the Lakers so expect a slow tempo, methodical game from them.
