It has been more than five weeks since the Giants lost three in a row at home. I don't see it happening here.
The pitching matchup is Dylan Cease versus Logan Webb. Both pitchers are in excellent form. I have to side with Webb, though, who is 2-0 with a 0.45 ERA in his last three starts.
Webb has been strong at home with a 5-1 record and 2.40 ERA. Cease is a high strikeout pitcher, but he can have control issues.
The Giants are the more stable team. The White Sox have been scuffling, three games below .500. They are hard to take as a serious contender as long as Tony LaRussa remains their manager.
