This is a huge revenge spot for Memphis, which was embarrassed 114-95 at Denver on Jan. 3. The Grizzlies were missing Zach Randolph at the time and also had fatigue issues. They are 8-2 since Randolph's return and are back to playing outstanding defense ranking No. 3 in the league.

The Grizzlies are surrendering an average of 88.2 points per game during their last four games and will have defensive whiz Tony Allen back in the lineup today. I'm expecting a lot of Memphis defensive intensity in this matchup.

The Nuggets are coming off a misleading victory against New Orleans last night where they were outrebounded by nine boards and made 10 of 17 shots from 3-point range compared to 3 of 15 for the Pelicans. I don't see the Nuggets getting this hot against the Grizzlies. Scoring figures to be down for the Grizzlies if Mike Conley can't play.
