After a long layoff it's not surprising that Colorado started slowly in Game 1. Jordan Binnington was incredible in Game 1, stopping 51 of 54 shots. Darcy Keumper was asked to deal with just 25 shots. Asking Binnington to be the hero night in and night out is a recipe for disaster against the most talented team in the league.
