Game of the Year *MLB* - Schule's World Series Game 1 BEST BET

Result: Win
This is a 10* play on the San Francisco Giants.

The Royals have had an unbelievable run, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cinderella Story come to an end here in the World Series. The Giants on the other hand have been here before, they have a star studded lineup full of proven playoff performers. Both teams will turn to their aces in Game 1, and this should favor the Giants.

Madison Bumgarner has been dominant in the post-season, especially on the road. In fact he's tossed 16 2/3 scoreless innings, allowing eight hits while striking out 17 in his two start on the road in these playoffs.

James Shields has gotten the job done for the Royals, but hasn't been spectacular. He's been better on the road as well, not only in these playoffs, but since he joined the Royals two season's ago. He's surrendered 10 runs on 16 hits over 16 innings, in his three starts at Kauffman Stadium in the playoffs (incl. Wild Card).

The Royals celebrated their ALCS series win like they had already won the World Series, and I wouldn't at all be shocked to see bubble burst here against a Giants team that has so much more experience as well as talent.

Take SF.
