(NHL) Anaheim vs. St. Louis, 10/30/2014 4:00 PM, Score: 0 - 2
Money Line: 111.00 Anaheim (Away)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* play on the Anaheim Ducks.

The Ducks lost their season opener by a score of 6-4 at Pittsburgh, but have since recorded four consecutive road wins while outscoring their opponents 13-6. The Blues have not really played up to expectations at Scottrade Center, going 2-2-0 to open the season.

John Gibson tended the goal for the Ducks in Chicago on Tuesday, and he was razor sharp, recording his first career shutout helping his team to a 1-0 victory. Expect Fredrik Andersen to be back between the pipes tonight though, and he will be looking for redemption after conceding four goals at San Jose, suffering his first defeat of the season. I don't think that performance was more than just a blip on the radar though, the 25 year old Dane has been excellent going 6-1-0 behind a 1.70 GAA and should be back at his best here.

The Ducks will have to do without Dany Heatley, Patrick Maroon and Kyle Palmieri, but none of these absentees will affect the team as much as the loss of Paul Stastny for the home team. Stastny scored 25 goals and 60 points last season, but has not played since Oct 18. Look for the Ducks Ryan Getzlaf to dominate the ice instead, as he has six goals and 18 assists in his last 22 games against the Blues.

These two teams met in California on Oct 19, a game where the Ducks picked up the two points via a 3-0 win, and they are now 3-0-1 on their last four visits to St. Louis. Anaheim has won all of the last four meetings overall.

Take ANA.
