Schule's NHL LATE NIGHT SNACK
(NHL) NY Islanders vs. Anaheim, 11/05/2014 5:30 PM, Score: 3 - 2
Money Line: -167.00 Anaheim (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the Anaheim Ducks.

I expected the Ducks to be a much bigger favorite at home tonight, and I couldn't pass on this price in such a one-sided matchup. Anaheim comes in with a league best 10-3 record, and they have won 4-of-5 at home.

The Islanders got off to a hot start, but have since lost three straight and five of their last seven. While they have scored plenty of goals, the Isles haven't been able to keep the puck out of their own net. They rank near the bottom of the league allowing an average of 3.5 goals per game, and their penalty kill is dead last with just a 64% kill rate.

New York netminder Jaroslav Halak has lost four straight starts, allowing a total of 14 goals in those defeats. Ducks starter Fredrick Anderson is among the league leaders in wins, GAA as well as save percentage. He was rested against the Avs, but don't be surprised to see him back between the pipes tonight.

Take ANA.
