This is a 10* play on the New Orleans Pelicans.
There was a time when the Denver Nuggets were almost unbeatable at home, and prior to last year they had been the league's highest scoring team dating back to 2010. Things have changed though, and the Nuggets are 2-3 at home, 4-7 overall, and they rank in the bottom half of the league in scoring.
Tonight they host a Pelicans team that has been living up to lofty expectations. New Orleans is 6-4, but it's quite telling that three of their four losses have come against teams that in the top four in the Western Conference (Memphis, Dallas & Portland), and the other was at Cleveland. Their road wins are also quite impressive, defeating the defending champs in San Antonio, and most recently knocking off the Kings in Sacramento.
Anthony Davis has scored 59 points, and pulled down 20 rebounds in his last two games. He's getting better every time he steps on the court, and Denver really doesn't have anyone who can guard him. I expect the 21 year old Phenom to have a MONSTER game at Mile High.
