Schule's NHL LATE NIGHT SNACK
(NHL) Arizona vs. San Jose, 11/22/2014 5:30 PM, Score: 4 - 3
Money Line: -170.00 San Jose (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the San Jose Sharks.

The Sharks opened a six game home-stand with a shoot out loss against the Panthers two days ago and are poised to snap a two game losing streak tonight. The Coyotes have not been at their best lately either, so this should be a good spot to back the home team.

Arizona won only 15 games away from home all of last season and has not started this season well either losing seven of its 11 on the road, six during regulation. The Coyotes have struggled in California over recent seasons, leaving SAP Center as winners only three times over the last 13 visits. To compete with the Sharks they need Mike Smith to play at the top of the game, something he has failed to do so far this season posting a 3.30 GAA over 15 starts while going 0-4-1 over his last five.

Facing Mike Smith might be just what the doctor ordered for a sputtering Sharks offense. They have been dangerous on the power play all season long, and it's not been different the last two games as they've scored on of two of their last seven chances on the man advantage. More goals should come tonight against the Coyotes penalty kill that ranks in the bottom half of the table.

San Jose have strengthened up their own D by acquiring Brenden Dillon from the Dallas Stars and he is set to make his debut tonight.

Take SJS.
