Schule's NHL Wild Wild West - S-H-O-O-T-O-U-T!
(NHL) Carolina vs. Colorado, 11/22/2014 4:00 PM, Score: 3 - 4
Money Line: -148.00 Colorado (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the Colorado Avalanche.

The Canes started the season with eight consecutive losses but started November strong winning five of their first six games. They're back in another slump now though, winning only once over their last five and turning that around tonight could be too much to ask for as winning in Denver is never an easy task.

Especially not for the Hurricanes who have been dismissed by the Avs over nine straight visits. They're in good company though as Colorado finished last season as one of the stronger home teams in the NHL winning 26 of their 41 games at Pepsi Center.

The Avalanche have struggled on offense so far this season scoring the sixth fewest goals in the league. I see great potential for the to better that stat tonight though, Cam Ward has conceded nine goals in two starts versus the Avs and he is coming into this contest shell-shocked allowing seven over his last two games.

Carolina Has won only two of their eleven games on the road this season, and expect to see them leave the ice as loser in this road game as well.

Take COL.
