This is an 8* play on the Florida State Seminoles.
Florida State is coming off a shocking upset loss to the Northeastern Huskies. This perhaps has the Seminoles falling out of favor with the betting public, as they are just a slight favorite against Providence on Saturday. I had a close look at that game against the Huskies though, and it looks like Northeastern was just hitting their shots (to the tune of 60% from beyond the arc). I think that the loss might say more about their opponent, than it does about the Seminoles. The Friars are 3-0, but those are three unspectacular wins over cupcakes. Providence is shooting just over 45% from the field, compared to 54.9% of FSU. The Noles also have the edge in three point shooting as well as at the free throw line. I like FSU to bounce back with a win here in Connecticut.
