The reigning Stanley Cup champs are slumping, losers of three of their last four, including a 4-1 loss at home Saturday to Chicago. They host Boston tonight, and the Kings might be catching the Bruins at a good time.

Boston will play it's second game in as many nights, coming off a 3-2 loss to the Ducks in Anaheim last night. The Bruins offense is really struggling, ranking 22nd in the league with an average of just 2.4 goals per game. They have missed leading scorer David Krejci and veteran blueliner Zdeno Chara.

The Kings are one of the league's best teams on home ice, with a record of 10-3-1 so far. This isn't anything new, they were 42-18-5 at home over the last two seasons. The Bruins come in with a 5-5 road record, and playing on back to back nights on the west coast is as tough as it gets for an East Coast team.

The Bruins may opt to rest Tuukka Rask here tonight, and his backup Niklas Svedberg has been pretty mediocre over his last five starts. The rookie is 2-2 with a rather swollen 3.20 GAA during that span.

Take LAK.
