The Minnesota Wild are a team that enjoys a tremendous home ice advantage, but I still don't believe they should be a favorite in tonight's game against the Ducks. Anaheim is tied for the lead in the Western Conference, and the Ducks sit just two points out of first in the NHL with 37 points. An impressive record when you consider that the team was hampered by a virus that knocked out several key players for an extended period of time.

The Ducks are 7-3-2 on the road this season, and they come in as winners of five of their last seven overall. Anaheim has won all of it's last four trips to Minnesota, and it has taken seven of the last eight overall versus the Wild. Corey Perry has scored 14 goals, four fewer than Tyler Seguin, who has played three more games. Perry scored the game winner in the Duck's 5-4 win over Philly on Wednesday.

The Wild own one of the NHL's worst power play units, converting on just 9% of their man advantage opportunities. That's going to come back to bite them in the buttocks eventually.
