The Nucks have more wins on the road than any other team, despite recent struggles, but have shown themselves to be very capable on home ice as well.
The home team is coming back to Vancouver after a seven game road trip, which saw them lose each of the last three games. They had won two consecutive at home prior though, and have had the better of the Rangers in Vancouver over recent match-ups, winning five of the last seven.
Henrik Lundqvist is having a disappointing season in net for the Rangers, going 2-2-1 on the road with a 2.76 GAA and conceded four goals at Tampa Bay his last start away from home. Ryan Miller has been a big reason to the Nucks success at Rogers Arena, going 7-1 behind a 2.20 GAA over eight home starts.
The Nucks are one of the deadlier teams on the penalty kill, scoring four shorthanded goals already which is also the same amount of goals the Rangers have allowed while playing with the man-advantage.
