The Mustangs have had a disappointing start to the season, falling out of the Top 25 after losses to Gonzaga, Indiana and Arkansas. SMU is still 6-1 at home, and the lone loss came to the #25 ranked Razorbacks. Tonight's opponent should not present much of a challenge, and the Mustangs will be expected to rout the UIC Flames, a team coming off a heartbreaking home loss to UT Martin. The Flames have only played three games on the road so far, losing badly in each of their last two. They lost to Kent State by an 18 point margin, and then to Dayton by a score of 75-41. We should see SMU prove to be just as tough as Dayton was, if not tougher. The Mustangs should cover this number with relative ease.
