Toronto is clinging to a very slim lead in the Eastern Conference, just one game up on Atlanta. The Raptors have surprised everyone this season, and even without their leading score Demar DeRozan, they've managed to keep on winning. Tonight's game at the Staples Center though is a particularly tough spot.

Not only are the Clippers 12-3 at home, they are on a roll, riding an eight game home win streak. Their most recent home win came on Christmas Day against the league's best team Golden State.

We all know the West is far superior to the East, but the Raptors have an impressive 7-2 record versus Western Conference teams. Not one of those seven wins came on the road versus a team with a winning record though. Wins at Utah, Sacramento and the Lakers aren't a fair comparison to tonight's game.

Toronto has dropped four straight road meetings versus the Clippers, a trend that should continue tonight.
