That said, I am certainly not comfortable laying a spread of 3 TDs though I do expect North Carolina to score a ton of points here. The Heels have scored 59 points in each of their last two home games. However, UNC has allowed 42 points per game in their last two games overall. The Blue Devils come into this one having scored 39 points per game this season but their defense was horrible against Kansas (yes, the Jayhawks!) last week so I expect the Tar Heels to score a ton here but Duke to hang around a bit. The Blue Devils have played at a very fast pace on offense this season plus been very efficient. Duke ranks among the leaders in the nation in terms of plays run on offense per game. The Tar Heels rank among the leaders in the nation for yards per play. Yes this is as big total and it has inched up a little bit higher too but there is still value here. If UNC is in the 59 range like they have been in other recent home games plus they did score 56 against Blue Devils last season, keep in mind a 20 point spread means to expect a 59-39 type game here.
