Major
(NCAAF) Western Kentucky vs. Vanderbilt,
Point Spread: 2.50 | -110.00 Vanderbilt (Home)
Result: Win
WKU is without some key players. Ace Wells is out. Last year he rushed for 536 yards and five touchdowns last year and averaged 6.3 yards per carry. He also caught 15 passes for 127 yards.

Jared Dangerfield, the leading receiver last year for WKU has missed a lot of practice time. This is no small injury as he had 825 yards on 69 receptions last season. Anticipated starting right tackle Matt Nord is out.

Vanderbilt has the element of surprise with new offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig. The Dores are one SEC team that will not be guilty of looking ahead. The Hilltoppers face the burden of high expectations. Opening up on the road against an SEC team that will not overlook them is too tough of a task.
