While WKU has a sixth-year signal caller under center with Brandon Doughty, the nation passing leader last season. Tech is not far behind in sending out Jeff Driskel, the fifth-year transfer from Florida who scored five touchdowns in a Week 1 rout of Football Championship Subdivision Southern.

Driskel is so talented and will dominate at this level. Tech also has Kenneth Dixon. A preseason All-Conference USA selection, Dixon carried over his form in the opener from last year, when he became Tech all-time leading rusher. On only nine carries that is all his team needed against Southern, Dixon racked up 106 yards and a touchdown with a long of 65 yards.

WKU allowed Vandy 393 yards but did not yield a TD until late but Vandy was horrible in the red zone. The score is deceptive.
