Despite being down 3-0 after the first leg, we don't think Olympiacos is definitely out of this Round of 16 eliminator, spooked apparently by the odd surrounding of Norway in the first leg and just not accustomed to the conditions in the north. Olympiacos had an 18-9 shot edge but everything seemed to keep bouncing the wrong way reflected by an own goal to gift Bodo a 1-nil lead in the 13th minute, courtesy Konstantinos Tzolakis. The holders have been on a good domestic run and bounced back to beat Ofi Crete last weekend. Manager Jose Luis Mendilibar, who has won European trophies each of the last two years (Europa league with Sevilla in 2023, Conference League with Olympiacos last year), has had the magic touch in Europe and we suspect the hosts make a game of it in Piraeus, and we'll see some goals.
