UAB at Santa Clara (total)
(NCAAB) Blazers (UAB) vs. Broncos (SCU),
Total: 166.50 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
It's not often that we look above "totals" in the mid 160s but we're making an exception on Sunday night in the Leavey Center. UAB's game is uptempo with its 82.5 ppg offense and we hardly think Andy Kennedy is going to alter that style especially against a team like Santa Clara that likes to run and gun itself. There should be opportunities for Blazer double-double machine F Yaxel Lendeborg (17.7 ppg & 11.2 ppg) to flourish and for Kennedy's perimeter weapons to play their preferred fast pace, which some recent foes have tried to avoid. Meanwhile, all SCU has done is score 90 points or more in1 2 different games, hit better than 40% beyond the arc since the start of December, and capable of efforts like canning 23 triples as the case last month in a 109-79 blowout of Washington State, which also thought it could run vs. the Broncos.
