Indianapolis comes out of a timely bye-week. Previous to that it beat Cincinnati 31-27. Detroit comes in off its second straight win and I think it'll struggle with this tough Colts defense. The Lions held on for a 23-22 win over the Falcons in their last outing. Colts' QB Philip Rivers looked great in the win over the Bengals, finishing with three touchdowns, an INT and 371 yards passing. Indianapolis allows 19.2 PPG and it allows 26.2. Detroit is also just 2-6 ATS in its last eight after back-to-back ATS victories, while the Colts are still 5-0 ATS in their last five vs. the NFC North. Detroit faces its toughest defense yet and I think it'll predictably struggle here. Lay the short points on the rested Rivers!
